Phu C. Tran, MD
Dr. Tran’s philosophy is simple- To work with you to achieve the best result possible, tailored to you. His goal is to achieve a natural looking result, while minimizing complications.
Education & Training
He is Board-certified in General Surgery by the American Board of Surgery and is Board-eligible for the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He received his medical degree from the renowned Baylor College of Medicine in Houston Texas and completed his General Surgery residency at the University of California San Francisco-Fresno (UCSF-Fresno) program. He then went on to complete his Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery training at Indiana University School of Medicine. He returned to UCSF Fresno to teach residents and fellows in the general surgery and oral maxillofacial program as a volunteer assistant professor of clinical surgery for UCSF. He returns home to Texas to help patients look and feel their best.
Dr. Tran enjoys both the cosmetic and reconstructive aspects of Plastic Surgery, including cosmetic and reconstructive breast surgeries, mommy-makeovers, body lifts, hand surgery conditions such as carpal tunnel and cubital tunnel syndrome, complex wounds, and reconstruction after burn and traumatic injuries. He also has a special interest in surgical treatment for peripheral nerve surgery such as neuroma pain.
